## Methodology

People seen rough sleeping in London per quarter, from CHAIN — the multi-agency database behind London's street outreach, funded by the GLA. A record of individuals actually seen and engaged, not an estimate or a survey, which makes it the most reliable rough sleeping data in the country and still an undercount: someone bedded down where no shift walked that night is not in it. The published tables carry a rolling two-year window, which is what is drawn.
