Methodology

London's listed buildings by grade. Grade I is exceptional interest, Grade II* particularly important, Grade II of special interest — and the last accounts for the overwhelming majority everywhere, which is why a Grade I listing is the rarity it is. A small number of entries carry no grade in the register and are shown as such rather than folded into Grade II.
