Methodology

A sample of the Planning London Datahub's 1.27 million applications, filtered to those whose centroid falls inside Greater London. That filter is doing real work: about 105,000 records carry a centroid of roughly 49.77°N 7.56°W, open Atlantic several hundred miles away, which is this dataset's null island. Colour separates approved from refused from undecided.
